Partnership Authority Scheme

PAS

Many architects and developers say that in some cases using Local Authority Building Control leads to inconsistency and confusion. If you feel this is the case but are satisfied with the service as a whole why not become a Partner.

Here in Leeds we welcome any one who would like to partner with us.

What it means and how it works

Becoming a partner  means you are allocated your own Building Control Surveyor who will be your single point of contact. This Surveyor will check all your Building Regulation applications whether they are in Leeds or outside of our geographical boundary.

Your dedicated surveyor will process your application from submission to approval including any necessary consultations with Yorkshire Water or the Fire Service.

How do I become a Partner?

Joining the scheme is very easy, the procedure is free and there is no contractual agreement. simply contact us and we will forward you the necessary forms required to Register.

Once these have been received and accepted you will be allocated a dedicated Surveyor and provided with our Partnership Application Forms.

As with ordinary applications you may submit plans etc electronically which can include on request an electronic application form.

The Plan Submission Charge for the application is based on the Inspecting Authorities Charges.

Once the application has been approved, copies of relevant plans and the Decision Notice are sent to the Agent and to the Inspecting Authority.
