Application evaluation process
No provision in legislation however, applications must contain details about the animals and the performances they are to take part in.
How to register
New registrations:
You can download an application forms from this page. The cost of the licence is reviewed in April each year. If you think you need a licence and you would like further information or you would like to find out the cost of the licence, please contact us on 0113 395 1603 before applying.
You can also apply and pay for your registration on-line.
Changes to existing registrations:
Please notify us of any changes to your certificate or registration for exhibition or training of performing animals by telephoning 0113 247 7791 or by using the on-line service.
Will tacit consent apply?
Yes. This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from us after 28 days
