Mrs Pirate
Eragon

Mrs Pirate
By Nick Sharratt
My 2 and a half year old loved this book. It had very simple text which rhymed and pictures clearly related to the text. After the first read-through by me, she was able to turn the pages herself and 'read' it back to me, just based on the pictures and the memory of the rhyme. This gave both of us great pleasure.

Double or Die
by Charlie Higson
The story is about Eton and around London. It involves James Bond and Professor Fairburn. The young James Bond finds a professor dead. He has been killed by the spikes of needles on the end of a gun. It is good but quite scary and other boys of 10 would enjoy it.

Eragon
by Christopher Poloni

This story is set in a different world and it is about Eragon and Saphira and the Dragon, Brom. Saphira is brave and although a good fighter, she is kind. The most exciting part of the book is when Eragon kills the shade. Anyone aged 12 and over who enjoys adventure would enjoy this book.

Horrid Henry's Underpants
by Francesca Simon
This is about Henry's school and it's funny when he's trying on different pants. Up to Year 4's would like this book.
