We provide local, accessible classes to adults and families in Leeds.  We work with other organisations, for example local colleges and community centres but most importantly the people of Leeds, to deliver a huge range of subjects.  Most of what we offer is aimed at the less advantaged members of the community.

What courses are on offer?

In the last year we’ve offered approximately 1000 courses on subjects as varied as:

Computing (word processing, desktop publishing, databases, spreadsheets, internet and email), Digital Photography, Creative Writing, DIY, Woodwork, Painting, Drawing, Sign Language, Lip Reading, Confidence Building, Italian, Spanish, French, Local History, Tai Chi, Yoga, Keep Fit, Dance, Music, Guitar, Piano, DJ Skills, Music Technology, Aromatherapy, Skills for Life (Literacy, Numeracy, English for Speakers of other Languages), Helping your Children with Reading, Writing and Maths

In over 300 venues across Leeds, both centrally and in the community.

Expensive?

Most of our students qualify for free tuition.

What if I’m not sure what level I’m at or I’m not sure what course to do?

There is advice and guidance available from over 100 organisations throughout Leeds.

They are made up of staff from local authorities, colleges, voluntary groups, universities and careers companies and offer up to date advice and information on courses, jobs and training.
