Neighbourhood Planning will support the delivery of the EASEL Area Action Plan, part of the Local Development Framework for Leeds that provides formal guidance for developers and planners. The plan will help to stimulate investment and commitment to regeneration in the area.
Neighbourhood Planning will start with areas that will be ready for development first - mostly cleared sites - and will profile community responses to the widest range of options achievable within the constraints of housing, transport, access and other infrastructure requirements.
