This is our next phase of recruitment for advanced practitioners and we expect that this addition to our social work staff will form the core of a cutting edge service which operates to the highest delivery standards and makes a real impact for our most vulnerable children.
We have already recruited a high number of advanced practitioners in Leeds. I know the impact our recruits as advanced practitioners have made to our service and I know from the feedback I receive they are enjoying their new professional challenge. Newly qualified social workers will continue to work alongside these experienced practitioners, by co-working and coaching to ensure the best possible introduction to their professional career.
As part of our recruitment pack we have included the Children and Young People’s Plan for Leeds. This is clearly the key document for Children’s Services and gives an important insight into our aims and aspirations. Also included is a structure chart showing how the post fits within our existing teams. However you will be joining us at an exciting time when we are moving to a locality based service. This will give practitioners the opportunity to work to smaller, defined areas where you can build stronger working relationships with professionals, families and communities.
