Leeds Forest Strategy

Across the district of Leeds we have a huge variety of parks and green spaces including many of national significance, providing people of all ages with opportunities for a range of recreational opportunities, health and well-being, and learning.  We are not only concerned about developing a strategy and policy for trees in the ownership of the local authority, but all trees, from trees in householders gardens to trees in large privately owned woodlands and all in between.

This is therefore an extremely important process, and the document attached is the method by which Leeds City Council is inviting a range of people to contribute to the formulation of a strategy that will help us to deliver a sustainable and viable tree population in and around Leeds.
