'Contact Leeds' is the customer services section of Leeds City Council. The section is made up of the corporate contact centre, one stop centres, the welfare rights unit, the central interpreting and translation unit and the Braille and large print unit.
There are 15 one stop centres across Leeds where you can get advice on a range of services face to face. Our centres work with a variety of partners to bring you the services you need locally and they are accredited with Charter Mark, the governments' standard for excellence in customer services.
Our customer service officers can help with enquiries about council tax bills and benefits, housing tenancy issues, benefits for people on a low income, help from social services for older people, disabled people, children and families, and more.
You can also report race and homophobic hate incidents at a one stop centre rather than a police station. We work with West Yorkshire Police, Leeds Racial Harassment Project, and Yorkshire MESMAC (sexual health project).
