The council has a specialist team whose job it is to clean up unsightly graffiti and fly postering around the city. We can advise on the removal of fly posters and graffiti and we can arrange for graffiti to be removed.
One of the six teams covers the city centre and is a fast response crew who aim to remove any hate graffiti within 24 hours. The other five crews each look after a wedge of the city which enables them to tailor there services to the particular needs of their area (a charge may be made for this service).

We will try and remove hate graffiti within 24 hours and other forms of graffiti within five to ten working days of it being reported to us.
