East Leeds Household Waste Sorting Site

East Leeds household waste sorting site has now reopened.

A brand new reuse shop is situated on site offering good quality used household items at low cost. The shop is the first of its kind in Leeds and is run by Revive, a community interest group made up of three local charities - Emmaus, SLATE and St. Jude’s.

A key benefit from the redevelopment means the site will also be able to offer small and medium-sized businesses the option to recycle or dispose of their waste at a reasonable cost.

The site which accepts household and trade waste is on Limewood Road, Seacroft, Leeds, LS14 1LU.

Opening times

  • April to October 8am - 6pm (British summer time)
  • November to March 8am - 4pm (Greenwich mean time)

The site will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.

Only household waste from Leeds' residents is accepted at household waste sorting sites. Vans may only be used to dispose household waste on Wednesday or Saturday. This is to help ensure trade waste is not being disposed of illegally by businesses.
