- Ring 0113 39 52327 with your details
- We’ll post your library card to your address as soon as your application is processed.
- To validate your card, call into any of our 53 libraries with proof of who you are e.g bring a credit, bank, Metro or student cards or a passport
Join in person
- You can join at any of our 53 Libraries
- Ask a member of staff for a joining form or print the form (available on the right hand side of this page as a pdf)
- A member of staff can help you to fill in the form.
- Please bring something which proves where you live.
- Proof can include
- a driving licence
- utilities bill – electricity, gas, water
- bank or building society statement (with address still attached)
- rent book
- benefits book
- disabled parking badge
- TV licence
- official letter showing address (such as from university, college, Home Office, Social Services or employer).
- Your library membership card entitles you to:
- Borrow up to 20 books FREE from the any of our libraries.
- Book a computer with free internet access
- Access online resources from the library and home
- Hire DVDs and music CDs
- Get a PIN number and reserve and renew books online
