Procurement Equality Assurance focuses specifically on the procurement stages, particularly the contract specification.
When reviewing and developing services which will be delivered by a third party, it is important to ensure that external organisations will act in accordance with and support our legal duties to promote equality and eliminate unlawful discrimination.
Procurement Equality Assurance is a way of checking and strengthening the contract specification in relation to equality and diversity.
As part of our legal duties we are required to publish details of completed Procurement Equality Assurance and a summary of each completed form will be added here over the coming months and years as and when they are completed.
