The resources below have been produced to help asylum seekers and refugees understand how NHS health services work.
The resources have a substantial section on sexual health and sexual health services including GUM clinics and family planning.
The resources are for health and non health professionals to pass onto asylum seekers and are available in 14 different languages.

The information in the resources was written in late 2004/2005 and was circulated to a number of agencies and professionals in Leeds to ensure the content was correct at the time it was written. Reputable agencies have been used to translate the resource and where ever possible we have asked community members to provide feedback on the translation.
