The Children's Services Unit supports the Director of Children’s Services to deliver the national Every Child Matters agenda in Leeds.
It is part of Children Leeds the local children’s trust arrangements. These arrangements ensure that all services including health, education and social care work together to improve outcomes for children and young people.
The unit is a small team of managers who work across traditional boundaries between organisations. The structure chart attached outlines the current members of the team.
The unit is led by:
- Rosemary Archer - Director of Children’s Services;
- Sarah Sinclair - Director of Commissioning and Planning, Children’s and Maternity Services. This is a shared post with Leeds Primary Care Trust;
- Keith Burton - Deputy Director of Children’s Services; and
- Mariana Pexton – Deputy Director of Children’s Services.
