West Yorkshire Trading Standards provides a calibration and equipment testing service for businesses, on behalf of the five West Yorkshire local authorities of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield.
The calibration laboratory tests weighing and measuring equipment against national and international standards to make sure it is accurate and can be used for trade purposes.
The service also provides ISO 9001 advice and auditing for local authorities, trade and industry.
