Transparency Agenda - Publication of Procurement Activity over £500
The government has set out the need for greater transparency across local government operations to enable the public to hold public bodies and local politicians to account. This includes commitments relating to public expenditure, intended to help achieve better value for money.
In order to help us to do this in an effective and comprehensive manner suppliers are asked to read this guidance to ensure they are aware of their commitments prior to supplying the council.
Newsletters
The newsletters are written for all suppliers on the council’s approved list. They can be downloaded as .pdf documents and will provide advice on issues that affect your status on the approved lists, and also highlight any other areas that you might be interested in. We see this as very much a two way process and welcome feedback from you.
