The study provides a basis to develop appropriate planning policies for open space, sport and recreation uses within the LDF. The study:
- audits existing open space, sport and recreation facilities in Leeds
- recommends local standards for the quantity, accessibility and quality of open space, sport and recreation facilities
- identifies areas of the city in deficiency and surplus of different types of open space provision
- identifies key actions to implement the findings of the study.
