This document provides information about our environmental performance for year 2010/2011, which covers the period from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011. This environmental statement forms part of our requirement under the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) and ensures our compliance to regulation no. 761/2001. EMAS was originally adopted by us in 2002.
EMAS is a management system which enables us to control our impact upon the environment and set targets for continual improvements in our environmental performance. Using EMAS as an improvement tool we can work towards protecting and improving the local environment and in turn play their part on a global level.
