Supplementary planning documents (LDF)

Local development documents are generally of two types, development plan documents (DPDs) that are subject to examination in public by an inspector, and supplementary planning documents (SPDs) which do not have development plan status.

76 planning guidance documents are available or in production:

• 30 supplementary planning guidance (SPG) documents were retained from the UDP 
   
• 12 new SPDs are in production 
   
• 34 other 'best practice' and guidance notes  were retained. These have no formal status as part of the LDF.
