As a basis to deliver the strategic approach of the Core Strategy, it is intended that the Site Allocations DPD should 'follow on' from the adoption of the Core Strategy but to begin early work in parallel.
The precise timetable for the preparation of the Site Allocations DPD is therefore subject to the progression of the Core Strategy to publication, submission and adoption. It will therefore be kept under review and refined and updated accordingly.
Target dates
- Preparation of initial site allocations issues and options document for consultation: summer/autumn 2011
- Consultation on Site Allocations 'Preferred Approach': spring 2012
- Publication of DPD: winter 2012
- Submission: Spring 2013
- Adoption: late 2013
