Leeds City Council is progressing work to produce a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Affordable Housing. The SPD, once formally adopted, will replace the existing Supplementary Planning Guidance on Affordable Housing.
An Initial Issues Report has now been produced. This explains work that has been done to date, the timetable for the SPD and what issues the SPD will cover. Please see the pdf available as a download on this page.
The Initial Issues Report is not a consultation document, but is just for information. Once the draft Affordable Housing SPD has been produced there will be a statutory six week period of public consultation.
For information, a Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report has also been produced and can be downloaded as a pdf on this page. This sets out how a sustainability appraisal of the draft SPD will be carried out.
