CO2 Sense is an independent not-for-profit low-carbon expert company.  They advise businesses on how they can improve performance by cutting energy, waste and other resources and on how to use their own land and buildings to generate electricity and heat.  CO2 Sense can also provide access to finance to support business investment with an environmental return and if your business has 250 employees or fewer, and is based in Yorkshire or the Humber, you could get a free grant of up to £8,000 to make permanent cost savings.

Yorkshire Association of Business Angels (YABA)

Yorkshire Association of Business Angels (YABA) is an introduction service that puts private equity investors looking to invest in start-up, growth stage and turnaround opportunities, in touch with entrepreneurs and companies seeking finance. Business angels provide a vital source of funding to fill the equity gap in the high risk, early stages of business.  They may invest sums of up to £300,000 but more usually keep within a range of £10,000 to £100,000.  Importantly, angels are able to offer a wealth of business expertise and advice. YABA is a non-profit making organisation set up in 1995 and has over 100 business angel investors in its network.

Leeds Met Business Enhancement Scheme
The recent recession has had an impact on businesses of every size. In response to this economic downturn, Leeds Metropolitan has started a scheme to help your company move forward by assisting with the introduction of new skills and capabilities in line with your business priorities.
