The Offer

As part of the Council’s Brownfield Land Programme Leeds City Council is providing a substantial residential development opportunity which offers an overall site of approximately 5 ha (12.36 acre) for housing development and related greenspace/playing pitch infrastructure situated at Beckhill Approach, Miles Hill, Leeds 7. Offers are being sought to purchase the site on an informal tender basis for housing development with a closing date for receipt of offers and proposals of 12.00 noon Friday 7 July 2017.

Location

The site is situated on the north western side of Beckhills Approach, Miles Hill close to both the Potternewton Lane and to the Stainbeck Lane areas of Meanwood, Leeds 7.

Meanwood and Miles Hill are established residential areas situated within the north Leeds suburbs close to the adjacent and popular residential areas of Headingley, Chapel Allerton and Potternewton some two miles to the north of Leeds City Centre.


The Site

The land is a substantial area consisting of the site of a former primary school (to the northern end) and also of now cleared housing (to the southern end). The site is regular in shape and generally level with extensive frontage to both Potternewton Lane and Beckhills Approach in the Meanwood/Miles Hill area of Leeds. The site is suitable for housing development subject to receipt of full planning permission.
