Leeds City Council in partnership with Leeds Metropolitan University and ABDN Minority Ethnic Enterprise Network have launched a programme of evening seminars focusing on business topics.
The seminars are aimed at established businesses from minority ethnic communities and offer an opportunity to learn new skills and make contacts with key business support organisations. They are often sponsored by people such as Inland Revenue, Leeds Chamber and Natwest Bank all of whom have representatives on hand at the seminars to offer free, impartial and practical business advice.
Held at the Old BBC Broadcasting House off Woodhouse Lane, Leeds, the seminars are free and start at 6pm. The seminars last for 1 hour with key speakers and case studies from the local business community followed by buffet and networking. These events finish at 8pm.
