Leeds City Council is committed to equality and diversity and in doing so strives to help businesses from all communities and backgrounds.
There are a number of a courses, seminars and services prepared and managed by Leeds City Council to help further business development and facilitate networking amongst minority ethnic businesses.
Throughout the year there are a number of events targeting all businesses from people with just a hobby or an idea, to those starting up right through to established businesses who want further advice and support. There are also courses aimed specifically at minority ethnic women to help overcome barriers to business.
The work that is done through these courses and events could not be done without the help and support of key partners such as Leeds Thomas Danby College, Park Lane College and Natwest Bank.
