The Leeds Business Continuity Planning Network

The Leeds Business Continuity Planning Network (BCP) Network is the main forum with which the Peace and Emergency Planning Unit uses to work with larger employers on BCP issues in Leeds.

The Network was set up in 2001 and has four key roles:

  • To develop a BCP ‘culture’ in Leeds
  • To enhance general understanding of BCP and emergency planning
  • To share information and best practice in BCP and emergency planning
  • To help in the development of relevant multi-agency planning arrangements, such as the Leeds City Centre Evacuation Plan, the Leeds City Council Strategic Recovery Plan and Leeds Flooding Plans.

There are over 120 members of the Network across all the key sectors of the Leeds economy. Membership of the Network is currently free and meetings take place 3 times a year at large public and private sector buildings around the city.

You can see the current membership list of the Network in the downloadable document attached to this page.

The Network is primarily aimed at larger companies in the Leeds district. If you would like further information, or would like to join the Network please contact Emergency Planning using the email link on this page.
