Energy saving advice
Everyone uses energy in their home but this energy is often wasted.

Energy efficiency is about using energy in your home in a way to make sure you are warm and comfortable; but not wasting this valuable resource and, at the same time, your money.

  • Average householder wastes £300 worth of energy per year.
  • Average energy bill is £1,300 per year
  • Average CO2 emission is 6.3 tonnes from Leeds houses per year.
  • 30% of households in Leeds find it difficult to heat their homes.

We want to improve energy efficiency in Leeds homes; but there is a lot that residents can do to help themselves.
