Pest control service

Leeds City Council offers a Pest Control Service.

We can offer treatments for

• rats (please refer to treatment of rats for recent changes to service)
• mice
• squirrels
• pigeons
• cockroaches
• ants
• fleas
• bedbugs
• silverfish
• woodlice
• moths
• beetles
• woodworm (only available to ALMO properties)

A free identification service  is also available if you are unsure as to what pest species might be causing you a problem.

For further guidance on any pest species we have a range of leaflets to give further guidance and advice on how to both prevent and treat an infestation.

Please see the prices PDF to see the cost of having an infestation treated.  Some pests are treated free of charge and this is dependant on the type of pest and individual circumstances.

For every insect or mammal, as many are beneficial to the environment and some are protected. Please refer to the following links for help and further guidance on these animals
