  • Housing – enquiries about repairs, rent accounts, applying for a council house, neighbour problems or any housing enquiries. 

  • Social Services - help and advice about services for older people, children and families, disabled people, blue badges and bus passes for disabled people, RADAR keys to access disabled toilets. 

  • Benefits - information about housing benefit, council tax benefit, free school meals and school clothing vouchers. You can also make an appointment with us to talk about benefits. 

  • Council tax - bills, discounts, business rates, and how to pay.

  • Other services from us - if we can't help you we will put you in touch with someone who can.

  • Hate incident reporting centre - A hate incident is any incident that the victim or any other person believes has been motivated by hatred of race, disability, faith or sexual orientation . You can report hate incidents at a one stop centre rather than at a police station. We work with West Yorkshire Police, Stop Hate UK, Victim Support and Yorkshire MESMAC (sexual health project).

  • HOPE Project - Halton Moor and Osmondthorpe project for elders. Please telephone 0113 247 7665 for details.
  • Children and Young People’s Social Care -Help and advice for children and young people.

  • Multisystemic Therapy Team -working with young people aged 11 – 16 years who are living at home and experiencing behavioural difficulties.

  • Adult Learning -  YMCA Leeds. A range of courses for adults.

  • Leeds City Credit Union – Information Point every Tuesday morning 9am to 12.30pm.Financial services including  savings, bank accounts, loans and budget accounts.

  • Youth offending team - We work to promote positive behaviour with young people in east Leeds who are identified as being at risk of offending.

  • Leeds library and information services - Osmondthorpe library has now closed and has been replaced by a mobile service.

     The community mobile library will visit

     Weekly:

     Rookwood Road – Monday 13.30pm to 15.30pm

     Wykebeck Estate – Thursday 17.30pm to 19.30pm

     The mobile for older people with visit fortnightly:

     Highways York Road – Tuesday 15.00pm 16.30pm

     Osmondthorpe One Stop Centre Friday 9.00am to 10.00am

     Doreen Hamilton Centre Friday 11.30am to 13.30pm

     The children’s and family mobile will visit weekly:

     Osmondthorpe Children’s Centre Monday 17.30pm to 18.30pm  

  • Welfare Rights - Advice surgeries for people needing help and advice with welfare benefits and rights. Surgeries are held on the second and last Tuesday of every month from 10am to 12.30pm. Surgeries are by appointment only so please telephone 0113 3760452 or ask a member of staff at the centre to book you an appointment.
