This should be paid to the Superintendent Registrar at least one month before to your wedding and includes £3.50 for the cost of a marriage certificate. A separate fee will also be payable to the owner of the venue where you are being married.
Marriage in the church of England/Wales
If you are getting married at a Church of England or Wales you need to ask the vicar of the church about fees.
Marriage in other religious buildings £50.00
The fee is for the registrar to go to your wedding and includes the £3.50 cost of a marriage certificate. You may also have to pay a fee at the place where you are being married.
