Trade liaison
The taxi and private hire licensing section hold regular forums with both Hackney carriage and private hire representatives. These are held on a quarterly basis.
The forums give us the opportunity to inform you of any changes being considered and gain your views. They also provide the opportunity for trade representatives to let us know about any problems and give feedback to consultation issues. Minutes from previous forums are available in the downloadable documents on the right hand side of the page.
Licensing and regulatory panel
The licensing and regulatory panel consists of elected members and deals primarily with taxi and private hire and related licensing matters, especially developing and approving important policies.
