Under the Gambling Act 2005 we licence lots of different gambling premises including bookmakers, casinos, amusement arcades and bingo halls.
We also deal with permits for 'unlicensed family entertainment centres' (UFECs) and prize gaming.
The Gambling Act 2005 allows us to prepare a statement of principles document for UFECs and prize gaming permits. This is a document which shows applicants for these permits, what measures we we will want them to show (to help promote the licensing objectives) when they apply.
