The Council's previous guidelines on fire safety standards have been reviewed following national guidance from Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services (LACORS).
This new guidance has been produced with the help of private landlords and the West Yorkshire Fire Service, and it provides advisory fire safety standards for both Houses in Multiple Occupancy (HMOs) and singly occupied properties including back to back houses.
