In special circumstances where a burial is to take place on the same day due to religious beliefs and it is at a weekend or bank holiday, a registrar is available to issue the relevant documents to the relatives.
The times when the registrar is available is published on the door of the Leeds Register Office, at the coroner's office or can be obtained from the funeral director.
