If you live in Leeds and want to study a course of Higher Education at university or other institute of Higher Education, we can arrange financial support for you. We work in partnership with the Department for Innovations, Universities and Skills and the Student Loans Company.
The finance available is a combination of loans for both maintenance and tuition fees, with grants payable in certain circumstances. Some elements of support are means tested, so you will be required to provide details of your financial circumstances, and those of your family, to be considered for those elements.
If you are disabled or have dependent children, you can also apply for additional financial support.

The application process for students wishing to undertake full time courses of Higher Education from September 2008 has now started. All new students must complete an application. You can do this online, from 12 March, using the Student Finance Direct website or you can get a paper application form (PN1) by contacting the Student Support office at the address in the top right hand side of this page.
