Joint Service Centres Project

Two joint service centres (JSC) in Chapeltown and Harehills provide facilities primarily for face-to-face services, including services provided by the local authority, NHS Leeds and other partners.

The JSCs have been procured via the Leeds local improvement finance trust (LIFT) in which we are a strategic partner with the Leeds Primary Care Trust.

Our services delivered from the centres include

  • Customer services, including housing, social services, benefits, Council tax and a hate incident reporting centre (Chapeltown and Harehills)
  • Health and Environmental Action Services (Chapeltown)
  • Community library (Chapeltown and Harehills)
  • Leeds City Credit Union (Chapeltown and Harehills)
  • North East Area Management Team office (Chapeltown)

  •  ‘HUB’ service provided jointly with NHS Leeds (Chapeltown)
  • Chinese Advisory Service (Harehills)
