The Leeds Country Way is a 62 mile circular waymarked route, taking you on a tour of the beautiful and varied countryside in the Leeds area. The route has been split up into bite-sized chunks of 4-6 miles - each an easy 2½ hour walk - and each section starts and finishes on a public transport route. Information on public transport links can be found on the Metro website from the link on this page or by calling (0113) 245 7676.
You can send off for a free Leeds Country Way walking pack, with waterproof maps and handy route descriptions - just send an A4 stamped addressed envelope (with a 60p large 2nd class stamp or 70p large 1st class stamp on it) to the address to the right of this page. Alternatively, you can download the maps in PDF format from this page (these maps are A3 size, so will print at half-size on an A4 printer).
We hope that you enjoy using the Leeds Country Way. If you would like to share any comments or experiences from your walks, please let us know by using the contact details on this page or call the Public Rights of Way team on (0113) 395 7400.
