Construction of the Leeds Arena has now started. BAM is the construction contractor who are now signed up to construct the arena. Current activity includes laying the concrete and reinforced steel foundations and the building's lift shafts and staircase are being put into place. The webcam below provides a real time update of construction, and you can see exciting progress being made.

If you visit the site, there is an on-site visitor centre where you can view the entire site. This is open between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. You can access the visitor centre by going to the entrance to the site on Clay Pit Lane and informing security you wish to visit the visitor centre.
